C’est la Vie

The French fashion designer agnès b. has always been a rebel, never following the conventions of fashion but forging her own path instead. She was trained as an artist, not as a designer, and perhaps this is the source for her originality, her free spirit. It’s what comes across most in her latest eyewear collection, recently launched in the country through Ideal Vision. Just like her fashion collections, the eyewear is made from premium materials with contrasting textures (the combination of metal and acetate, for example) and the designs often have playful details to elevate your style. There are frames to flatter every profile, from classic ’50s-inspired aviators to the more avant-garde square or rectangular shapes, available in an array of colors and patterns. To help keep the frames light, the nose pads are made from titanium, ergonomically shaped to fit comfortably. Other model types skip the nose pads; relying instead on the skillful contouring of the frames to allow them to settle perfectly on your face. Those with a keen eye may spot a small logo on the temple or end tips, a subtle reminder that these are no ordinary frames, they’re agnès b. SM Aura Premier; idealvisioncenter.com.ph.
