Keem­pee de Leon re­turns to AB­SCBN af­ter 16 years for this project

Af­ter 16 years of do­ing reg­u­lar TV shows for GMA-7, Keem­pee de Leon is back with AB­SCBN.

He will be a part of the up­com­ing drama se­ries ti­tled “Nang Ngu­miti Ang Lan­git.”

“Nang Ngu­miti Ang Lan­git” will be top-billed by Cris­tine Reyes, RK Ba­gats­ing, Enzo Pineda, and child ac­tress Sophia Re­ola.

Vet­eran ac­tors Pi­lar Pi­lapil, Ces Que­sada, and Dante Rivero are also part of the project.

Matet de Leon, Hyubs Azarcon, child ac­tor Miguel Ver­gara, and indie film ac­tor Vance Larena are also cast in the show.

“Nang Ngu­miti Ang Lan­git” is Keem­pee’s come­back with AB­SCBN af­ter 16 years of be­ing with GMA-7.

His last reg­u­lar project for the Ka­pam­ilya net­work was the 2002 com­edy gag show “Klas­meyts.”

Back then, Keem­pee ap­peared in some episodes of “Maalaala Mo Kaya,” but his reg­u­lar shows, in­clud­ing tele­seryes, were with the Ka­puso net­work.

In 2016, Keem­pee was re­moved from the ros­ter of hosts in the noon­time show “Eat Bu­laga!”

His last reg­u­lar tele­serye with GMA7 was the 2017 prime­time se­ries “Meant To Be,” while his last guest ap­pear­ance was in the re­cently-con­cluded se­ries “In­day Will Al­ways Love You.”
