Army calls on the pub­lic to re­port NPA ex­tor­tion ac­tiv­i­ties

Philip­pine Army 301st In­fantry Brigade (301IB) deputy com­man­der, Colonel Or­lando Edralin, re­cently called on the pub­lic to re­port in­ci­dences of ex­tor on by mem­bers of the New Peo­ple’s Army (NPA).

“[The] army is gearing to­wards erad­ica ng ex­tor on ac vi es,” he af­firmed.

The mil­i­tary of­fi­cer also an cipated, with the midterm elec ons tak­ing place next year, the rebel group will likely con­duct their “per­mit to cam­paign” drive, where they de­mand pay­ment from can­di­dates. He like­wise called on poli cal as­pi­rants to re­port such in­ci­dents.
