Tri­cy­cle driv­ers, oper­a­tors assem­bly this week­end

The Land Trans­porta­tion Of­fice-Re­gion VI (LTO-6) will be hold­ing the LTO-R6 Western Visayas Tri­cy­cle Driv­ers and Oper­a­tors Gen­eral Assem­bly on Sun­day, Oc­to­ber 14, at the Ne­gros Oc­ci­den­tal Mul­ti­Pur­pose Ac­tiv­ity Cen­ter in Ba­colod City.

Ac­cord­ing to LTO-6 Di­rec­tor Roland Ramos, the assem­bly will in­form tri­cy­cle driv­ers and oper­a­tors of Depart­ment of the In­te­rior and Lo­cal Gov­ern­ment (DILG) Mem­o­ran­dum Cir­cu­lar 2011-68, which bans tri­cy­cle on main thor­ough­fares.

DILG rep­re­sen­ta­tives are also ex­pected to at­tend the event.

The re­gional di­rec­tor said he wants feed­back from tri­cy­cle driv­ers and oper­a­tors.

Around 3,000 tri­cy­cle driv­ers and oper­a­tors are ex­pected for the event./
