USLS stu­dents present sci­en­tific re­search to the gov­er­nor

Ne­gros Oc­ci­den­tal Schol­ar­ship Pro­gram (NOSP) re­cip­i­ents who are en­rolled in the Univer­sity of St. La Salle food tech­nol­ogy pro­gram re­cently pre­sented their sci­en­tific re­search to Ne­gros Oc­ci­den­tal Gov­er­nor Al­fredo Marañon, Jr. at the Provin­cial Capi­tol.

Among the sub­jects tack­led in­clude tad­pole de­vel­op­ment, fish food for tilapia, al­ter­na­tive chicken feeds, egg pro­duc­tion in­no­va­tions, e.coli at Bacolod City mar­kets, among oth­ers.

The gov­er­nor en­cour­aged the stu­dents to con­duct more tech­ni­cal ex­per­i­ments and de­velop in­no­va­tive re­search prac­tices.

Also present were Engr. Mar­i­lyn Manuel of the Gov­er­nor’s Of­fice, Dr. Merie Ann To­lentino of the Provin­cial Vet­eri­nary Of­fice, NOSP head Karen Din­say, among oth­ers.
