Gerald Anderson's IG post stirs speculation
Gerald Anderson stirred speculation on Monday with an Instagram post showing him holding hands with an obscured individual, with several of his followers wondering whether it hinted at a new romance.
The photo shows Anderson with the hooded figure in the woods, with a caption quoting from the philosophy page Daily Stoic.
The quote, which explains Friedrich Nietzsche's take on "amor fati" or love of fate, goes: "Treating each and every moment, no matter how challenging — as something to be embraced, not avoided. To not only be okay with it, but love it and be better for it. So that like oxygen to a fire, obstacles and adversity become fuel for your potential."
In comments on Anderson's cryptic post, many of his followers mentioned names of women formerly linked with the actor, particularly Bea Alonzo and Julia Barretto.
Others asked Anderson to introduce the person in the photo, while a number speculated that the snap was from the set of "A Soldier's Heart," his ongoing war drama series.
Anderson was last known to be in a relationship with Alonzo, from whom he separated in mid2019. He was then romantically linked with Barretto, but both denied ever being more than friends.
