After headlining the hit drama series Once Upon a Kiss in early 2015, teen stars Miguel Tanfelix and Bianca Umali (above) are back in the GMA teleserye Wish I May, which premiered last January 18.

In Wish I May, the love-team partners who go by the celeb uni-name BiGuel—formed from the first syllable of Bianca’s name and from the last syllable of Miguel’s—play childhood friends who have developed special feelings for each other. Though the people around them try to nip their young romance in the bud, the smitten pair always find their way to each other’s heart. Miguel and Bianca get able support from seasoned actors Juan Rodrigo, Glydel Mercado, Neil Ryan Sese, Camille Prats, Mark Anthony Fernandez, Alessandra de Rossi, and Rochelle Pangilinan, as well as from newbies Ash Ortega and Prince Villanueva.

The fairly new love-team partnership of Barbie Forteza and Andre Paras (left) first gained attention in the hit afternoon TV series The Half Sisters, which ended its run in January 2016. Now, Andre and Barbie—aka AnBie, from the first syllable of Andre’s name and the last syllable of Barbie’s—are headlining a new rom-com, That’s My Amboy, which premiered on the Kapuso network on January 25.

Andre plays a popular but spoiled actor—an Amboy (from the Filipino slang word for “American boy”) who grew up in the United States. Barbie plays his personal assistant. The two first get on each other’s nerves, but slowly find their way into each other’s hearts.

Cast members include John Arcilla, Tonton Gutierrez, Donita Rose, Maritoni Fernandez, Kiko Estrada, Jazz Ocampo, Matet de Leon, Jerald Napoles, and Meryll Soriano.
