13 Reasons Why is a 2007 novel by Jay Asher that has been adapted as a web television series for Netflix. As a series, it has become rather controversial because the plot delves into teen suicide. Tuesdays with Morrie, which was No. 1 in the 2000 New York Times list of bestselling nonfiction, is a memoir by American sports columnist Mitch Albom. In the book, the author writes about the 14 Tuesdays he spent with his 78-year-old former professor, Morrie Schwartz, who was at the time dying from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.
