IF YOU WERE TO WAKE UP AS SOMEONE ELSE, WHO WOULD IT TO BE?

Keanu Reeves, my favorite actor. Growing up, he was an inspiration to me; he’s my acting idol… I think, if you want to be a basketball player, you think of your favorite basketball player. Of course, I don’t want to be anyone else. I have to be myself. But if I could, I mean, I wouldn’t mind being Keanu Reeves.

IF YOU HAD A SUPERPOWER, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

Teleportation. To be in the States for breakfast.

’Tapos sa Philippines for lunch. ’Tapos France for dinner. Parang gano’n.

FIRST PURCHASE WITH YOUR FIRST SALARY?

Playstation 4. Ever since I was a kid, I have always been into video games. Parang ’yon ’yong stress reliever ko. I’m very into technology. I always like to have the best gadgets, the best electronics.

FIRST TIME YOU REALIZED YOU WERE FAMOUS?

When I went to the mall. Before, I would go to the mall and, you know, parang wala lang. Stroll, window-shop. Now, when people see me, they say, ‘Hey, That’s My Bae,’ ‘Trops!’ or ‘ Uy, si Jon,

puwedeng pa-picture?’ That’s when I started to notice.

LAST TIME YOU CRIED?

A few days ago, actually. I was homesick. I missed my friends, my family. Medyo sad story, pero it was Father’s Day, and my dad had already passed away. But I think I cried because I was homesick. I haven’t gone home [to Los Angeles] in two years.
