T he relationship of Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho isn’t perfect. But Hayden and Vicki have proven time and again that they are perfect for each other.

Vicki, 61, did not think she would get married again after a failed marriage with businessman Atom Henares. After all, she already had two kids, Cristalle Belo-Pitt and Quark Henares, who are now both successful in their chosen fields, and she had started the Belo Medical Group, a multimillion beauty empire that is now touted as the biggest of its kind in the country.

There is no more room for a man and marriage, right?

But love, as they say, works in mysterious ways.

Hayden and Vicki started seeing each other in 2005. But while their 12-year relationship has brought them great joy, it has also brought them much heartache. It was marked by doubts, arguments, lawsuits, and uncertainty. It reached a point, in 2010, when Vicki called it quits and distanced herself from Hayden, who had gotten embroiled in a string of issues that rocked showbiz.

But in the end, and through it all, their love for each other prevailed. When everybody thought that going their separate ways was the best option for the two of them, Vicki and Hayden found themselves drawn to each other again.

Hayden Kho Jr., who lost his license to practice medicine in 2009 but regained it in 2014, turned his life around for Vicki. In 2013, he embraced Christianity after an encounter with Christian philosopher Ravi Zacharias, the same man who would officiate their Christian wedding rites at The American Church in Paris on September 2, 2017.

Vicki, for her part, chose to forgive and to put the sad past behind her. In a February 2017 interview with the cable news channel CNN Philippines, she said, “If you want a relationship to really make it, forget the past and forgive.” In the same interview, she noted that ever since she found the heart to forgive Hayden for what he did and didn’t do, “everything’s actually gotten so much better.”

The couple have since been leading a relatively quieter life. Their battle-tested

After a six-year engagement, doctor-to-the-stars Vicki Belo, 61, finally tied the knot with her long-time beau, Hayden Kho, 37, in an intimate Christian wedding ceremony at The American Church in Paris. The affair brought together friends, family, and celebrities, including the Belo Medical Group’s biggest endorsers—with no media covering it!

It was a wedding of grand proportions, from the pre-wedding dinner party that was held on a cruise along The Seine, the 777-kilometer river and commercial waterway within Paris, to the lavish dinner at the Grand Foyer of the Palais Garnier, the historic 1,979-seat opera house that is considered one of the most important and beautiful buildings in the City of Light.
