Maine Mendoza recently had everyone intrigued by saying—in her social media posts and in huge billboards all over the metropolis—that she has found her “forever.”

Well, she has finally revealed her secret. In her latest TV commercial launched last August, she spoke glowingly of CDO Funtastyk Young Tocino.

“Very unique ang concept,” Maine says of the product’s new ad campaign. “Parang ilo-launch nila na very mysterious sa tao. Kung ano nga ba ’to? Parang beauty product na bandang huli, malalaman nila na tocino pala, pagkain. I think, it’s very fresh for the consumers and for the viewers to see this kind of campaign.”

It is campaigns like this that have brought the CDO and Maine partnership to the top, and they intend to stay there forever. “Parang sa lahat naman po ng bagay, di ba, once na-reach mo ang top, siyempre po, mas gusto mo na i-maintain ang ranking.”

In her life, though, as a TV host-actress, Maine is a realist who knows there’s no forever. But she knows, too, that keeping her feet firmly planted on the ground is the key to prolonging her life span as an entertainer.

“Siguro, ito ’yong isang bagay na hindi ka dapat malunod,” she says of her current fame. “Kasi, panapanahon lang din naman po ’yan. Ang sa akin na lang, habang nasa ’yo, enjoy mo.”

And being quick-witted, Maine adds: “Pero sa tocino po, may forever. Kasi, CDO Funtastyk Young Pork Tocino, forever young lang talaga.”
