Before she took a leave from show business to focus on her pregnancy, Kylie was playing one of her biggest roles to date: that of Amihan in the 2016 remake of Encantadia.

The actress admits that she misses that role, especially since she felt an emotional connection with her character, who is also a mother: “She’s a mom first before she’s a queen, before she’s a Sang’gre, before anything. Lalo kong inembrace the fact that I was pregnant, kasi I played Amihan, ’yon.”

However, the new mom isn’t making her showbiz comeback yet, since she needs to recover and take care of Alas. “Darating din ’yong time na I can go back to doing my passion.”

Aljur, on the other hand, has been a constant presence on the small screen—this time as a Kapamilya. In the short time since his move to ABS-CBN, the actor has taken on roles in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, Maalaala Mo Kaya, and Wansapanataym, shows that are notably of different genres. That’s because Aljur is not at all picky when it comes to his roles.

“Wala akong gustong sundan, e,” he says. “Kung anuman ’yong trabaho na gustong ibigay sa akin, as long na mapagkasunduan nila ng manager ko… Basta gusto ko lang talaga maging actor.”
