Yummy (Philippines) - - Everyday Recipes -

ith just a few basic ingredients, you can make this quick, easy, and healthy dish in no time! I came up with this recipe because I’m a big fan of the pasta-andgarlic combo and because I like to sneak in vegetables any chance I get.

Aglio e olio pasta gets its snappy flavor from copious amounts of garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes. The traditional dish usually features just those ingredients tossed with spaghetti noodles; while good, I like to take it a notch higher in the nutrition department. Enter broccoli—another great ingredient that pairs well with garlic. Feel free to play around with other vegetables, too: You can use six cups of spinach or kale, or use a mandoline to make zucchini or carrot noodles.

Time the cooking of the sauce with the cooking of the noodles so you’re done in 11 minutes. Eating healthy doesn’t get any easier than this!
