AVOID SOGGY MUSHROOMS
Cooked mushrooms can be a real treat, especially if they’re beautifully browned with just a hint of crispness; but if you’re not careful, that pan of delicious ’shrooms will turn into a sloppy, soggy mess before your very eyes. The trick to crispy mushrooms is making sure not to overcrowd the pan as you fry them. Overcrowding the pan will only create steam and will prevent the mushrooms from drying out enough to develop a delicious brown crust. Cook them in batches if needed.
