The gourmet restau­rant be­long­ing to the five-star ho­tel The Cliff Bay, Fun­chal, has been, since 2004, un­der the guid­ance of french Chef Benoît Sinthon. In 2009 was awarded the first Miche­lin star on Madeira, an award which has been re­newed yearly un­til 2017, year in which the restau­rant is dis­tin­guished with 2 Miche­lin Stars. Cinco anos de­pois re­cebu a primeira es­trela Miche­lin atribuída na ilha da Madeira, galardão que vê ren­o­vado con­sec­u­ti­va­mente até 2017, ano em que é dis­tin­guido com duas es­tre­las Miche­lin.
