Kale ﻫـــﻮ ﻧـــﺒـــﺎت ﻣـــﻦ ﻋــﺎﺋــﻠــﺔ اﳌـﻠـﻔـﻮف واﻟﺒﺮوﻛﻮﻟﻲ واﻟﻘﻨﺒﻴﻂ، ﻳﺤﺘﻮي ﻋﻠﻰ ﻋﻨﺎﺻﺮ ﻏﺬاﺋﻴﺔ ﻣﺘﻨﻮﻋﺔ وﻋﺪﻳﺪة ﻣﻔﻴﺪة ﻟﻠﺠﺴﻢ. 100 ﻏﺮام ﻣﻦ اﻟﻜﺮﻧﺐ اﻟﻨﻲء ﺗﺤﺘﻮي ﻋﻠﻰ 49 ﺳﻌﺮة ﺣﺮارﻳﺔ، ﻓﻲ ﺣﲔ ﻳﺤﺘﻮي 100 ﻏـﺮام ﻣﻦ اﻟـ kale اﳌﻄﺒﻮخ ﻋﻠﻰ 28 ﺳﻌﺮة ﺣﺮارﻳﺔ.ووﻓﻘﴼ ﻟﺪراﺳﺔ ﺣﻮل اﻟﺼﺤﺔ اﻟﻐﺬاﺋﻴﺔ ﻧﺸﺮت ﻓﻲ ﻟﺒﻨﺎن ان اﳌﻔﺎرﻗﺔ ﻓﻲ اﻷرﻗﺎم ﻳﻌﻮد اﻟﻰ ان اﻟﻜﺮﻧﺐ ﻳﺨﺴﺮ ﻣﻦ ﻣﻮاده اﻟﻐﺬاﺋﻴﺔ ﺑﻌﺪ ﻋﻤﻠﻴﺔ اﻟﻄﻬﻮ او اﻟﺴﻠﻖ. اذﴽ، ﻳﻌﺘﺒﺮ اﻟﻜﺮﻧﺐ ﻏﻨﻴﴼ ﺑﺎﻷﻟﻴﺎف وﻻ ﻳﺤﺘﻮي ﻋﻠﻰ ﺳﻌﺮات ﺣﺮارﻳﺔ ﻋﺎﻟﻴﺔ ﻛﻤﺎ اﻧﻪ ﺧﺎل ﻣﻦ اﻟﺪﺳﻢ.
