IM or­gan­ises ‘#In­spireMeThinkPink’

In­spire Me (IM) coach­ing and con­sul­tancy, re­cently held its first char­i­ta­ble event ‘#In­spireMeThinkPink’ to hon­our Breast Cancer Aware­ness Month at La Can­tine Healthy Bistro pow­ered by Akly. Mar­garita Zu­niga, speak­ing at the event high­lighted the im­por­tance of the month and urged the au­di­ence to be screened from as young as twenty years at one of the many screen­ing booths set up by Qatar Pri­mary Health Care and Ha­mad Hospi­tal.

The event also fea­tured an auc­tion of the works of Mala Waseem, a lo­cal artist. Mala do­nated the pro­ceeds from the auc­tion to Qatar Cancer So­ci­ety (QCS). The event in­cluded a Zumba fit­ness ses­sion by Filipino Fit­ness and Health, pos­i­tiv­ity mood board, in­ter­ac­tive ses­sion by QCS and IM’s per­sonal de­vel­op­ment work­shop.

El­iz­a­beth Wood, Founder and Head Coach of IM, said, “This event could not have been pos­si­ble with­out every sin­gle part­ner and vol­un­teer com­ing to­gether to make it hap­pen. They gave their time, tal­ent, money and re­sources to this cause, a dis­ease that takes so many lives. Pre­ven­tion is truly bet­ter than a cure and af­ter be­ing enlightened by learn­ing some­thing new to­day, In­spire Me com­mits to more col­lab­o­ra­tions with QCS in the fu­ture.”
