PSSC qual­i­fies for QCA U-19 Cricket Tour­na­ment fi­nal

Pak Shamaa School & Col­lege (PSSC) won the re­cently held semi-fi­nal of Qatar Cricket As­so­ci­a­tion (QCA) U-19 Cricket Tour­na­ment, by 26 runs. The match was played at Dafna Ground. PSSC won the toss and elected to bat first against Sri Lanka School in the semi­fi­nal. PSSC team man­aged a fight­ing to­tal of 130 in 20 overs. Af­sarul­lah Khan and Hus­sain Khan showed ex­cel­lent per­for­mance with the bat, scor­ing 42 and 30 runs re­spec­tively. Sri Lanka School team, how­ever, could not achieve the tar­get. With their ex­cel­lent bowl­ing skills; PSSC team bowled out Sri Lanka School team at 105 in 18.5 overs. Sal­man Khan, Is­mail and Bis­mall Khan were bril­liant by tak­ing 3, 2 and 2 wick­ets re­spec­tively. M A Shahid, PSSC Pres­i­dent; Na­bila Kaukab, Prin­ci­pal; and Ab­dul Rehman Cho­han, Coach; con­grat­u­lated the team and wished them best of luck for the fi­nal match. PSSC will play in the fi­nal against Bangladesh team on Novem­ber 10.
