MES conducts food safety awareness programme
With the objective of educating young students about food preservation and personal hygiene, MES Indian School recently conducted a food safety awareness programme for its students aged between 8 and 13 at the Conference Hall of the school. Klaudyna Surma, Food Inspector in the Ministry of Municipality and Environment Qatar, conducted the programme. Klaudyna Surma had an interactive session with the inquisitive students on how to preserve food and essential protocol that one needs to be aware of for food hygiene. The enthusiastic participants were rewarded with gifts for their accurate answers during the session. Pamphlets regarding food safety were also distributed on the occasion. Gincy Wilson and Shiju Sebastian, members of the health and welfare department of the school, co-ordinated the programme.
