Nehmeh or­gan­ises bowl­ing tour­na­ment for em­ploy­ees

Ever since its in­cep­tion in 1955, the story of Nehmeh, Qatar-based In­dus­trial So­lu­tions Provider, has al­ways been about ‘peo­ple’. From the hum­ble be­gin­nings by the founder An­toine Nehme to the cur­rent strength of 400 em­ploy­ees, Nehmeh’s jour­ney has been most im­por­tantly about the em­ploy­ees as the most im­por­tant as­set.

Nehmeh re­cently or­gan­ised a bowl­ing tour­na­ment for all its em­ploy­ees. The event was held at Qatar Bowl­ing Cen­ter. Fedaa El­haris, Head of the Hu­man Cap­i­tal de­part­ment, said, “Our ap­proach to in­te­grate bowl­ing as one of our em­ployee en­gage­ment events not only fa­cil­i­tated team build­ing but also pro­vided a great so­cial ex­pe­ri­ence to our em­ploy­ees.” Over 150 em­ploy­ees par­tic­i­pated in the event and the par­tic­i­pants were di­vided into dif­fer­ent teams as each team con­sist of five mem­bers with the com­bi­na­tion of both men and women. The event also saw the par­tic­i­pa­tion of Emil A Nehme, Chief Ex­ec­u­tive Of­fi­cer, along with top man­age­ment. Twenty two teams par­tic­i­pated and vied for the top hon­ours with team United Nehmeh (UN), rep­re­sented by Noel Ro­drigues, Amr Da­wood and Mo­hamed Fauzan Jibiry, win­ning the cham­pi­onship closely fol­lowed the run­ners up team CPP Bowlers com­pris­ing of An­toine Nehme, Ra­jeena Kasim, Mo­hamed Sha­jeer, Sheik Ri­jwan and Jay­nath Ya­dav.

The prizes and awards were dis­trib­uted to the win­ners and to all par­tic­i­pants.
