The two-week fes­ti­val will fea­ture eleven dif­fer­ent sports for men and women, in­clud­ing beach soc­cer, bas­ket­ball, foot­ball, ju­nior foot­ball, flag foot­ball, vol­ley­ball , ta­ble ten­nis for spe­cial needs.

Aspire Dome Swim­ming Pool and In­door Ath­let­ics Track July 2 - Au­gust 31, Ev­ery Sun­day & Wed­nes­day from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Aspire Dome Swim­ming Pool and In­door Ath­let­ics Track will host swim­ming and run­ning open ses­sions. The regis­tra­tion is open un­til Au­gust 31. The on-site regis­tra­tion is sub­ject to the avail­abil­ity at Splash & Dash wel­come desk ev­ery Sun­day and Wed­nes­day be­tween 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

GILDING THE LILY

Mu­seum of Is­lamic Art July 2, 9 and 16, 12:00 noon - 2:00 p.m.

Join us in cre­at­ing a glass paint­ing in­spired by the re­mark­able flo­ral de­signs in MIA's col­lec­tion. Stu­dents will go on a trip through the galleries, learn about the ob­jects from Iran and Turkey, and cre­ate their own art­work on glass. For chil­dren be­tween the ages three and five. Fo­cus­ing on rare and beau­ti­ful ce­ram­ics from Spain, the ob­jects on dis­play ex­em­plify the blend­ing of Mus­lim and Chris­tian artis­tic mo­tifs. Through the dis­play of An­dalusi ce­ram­ics, we high­light our phi­los­o­phy of col­lect­ing and con­serv­ing key ob­jects in the his­tory of Is­lamic art to show why and how a mu­seum col­lec­tion is de­vel­oped.
