AL MIRQAB PLOT FETCHES QR250 MIL­LION

A 1,656 sq. m. plot in Al Mirqab was sold for QR250 mil­lion at the rate of QR151,000 per sq. m. This is the high­est price a prop­erty in the coun­try has fetched so far.

The small­est house sold was about 165 sq. m. in Bin Dirham in down­town Doha. It fetched QR2.4 mil­lion at the rate of QR15,384 per sq. m. The sec­ond largest deal in terms of value in­volved a 6,000 sq. m. hous­ing com­plex in New Salata which fetched QR107 mil­lion. In Umm Qarn and Al Dhay­een, four plots ad­mea­sur­ing less than 400 sq. m. were sold for un­der QR1 mil­lion.

Most plots, houses and vil­las sold in the week are in Doha, Al Dhay­een, Al Khor, Umm Salal, Al Rayyan and Al Wakra. As many as 94 deals worth QR914.7 mil­lion were con­cluded be­tween June 29 and July 3, ac­cord­ing to the de­tails posted on the web­site of the Min­istry of Jus­tice.
