The Youth Com­pany launched 7asanat Olympics this Ra­madan, bring­ing to­gether youth be­tween the ages of 14 and 20 to en­cour­age them to par­tic­i­pate in the spirit of the sea­son and pay back the com­mu­nity through char­ity drives and vol­un­teer work.

Hos­pi­tal vis­its, break­ing fast with the elderly, char­ity drives and If­tar dis­tri­bu­tions were some of the ac­tiv­i­ties planned over the course of the Holy Month that in­volved 120 young vol­un­teers and over 500 vol­un­teer hours. The Youth Com­pany part­nered with over 14 govern­ment or­gan­i­sa­tions, char­i­ties, and cor­po­rate houses to or­gan­ise the events. The team dis­trib­uted if­tar boxes at pop­u­lar in­ter­sec­tions or round­abouts dur­ing if­tar time to help re­duce the num­ber of ac­ci­dents at this time and also cel­e­brated Garangou with the young pa­tients at the pe­di­atric ward of Ha­mad Med­i­cal Cor­po­ra­tion as well as helped or­gan­ise Garangou events at Al Ri­waq and Katara. The vol­un­teers also col­lected spare cloth­ing for char­ity from var­i­ous com­pounds in part­ner­ship with Sheikh Eid Char­ity As­so­ci­a­tion.
