The C range will en­ter the mar­ket with two op­tions of cabin width, 2.3 m and 2.5 m, both of which are de­signed for spe­cific jobs. The 2.3 m is built for dis­tri­bu­tion and de­liv­er­ies while the 2.5 m cab is for long haul, light con­struc­tion and heavy dis­tri­bu­tion. Re­nault Trucks Pres­i­dent Bruno Blin said: “In de­vel­op­ing the C and K ranges, we have de­ployed sig­nif­i­cant re­sources to en­sure th­ese ve­hi­cles de­liver max­i­mum re­li­a­bil­ity. Each range has un­der­gone rig­or­ous qual­ity tri­als and has also been ex­haus­tively field tested un­der ac­tual op­er­at­ing con­di­tions.”

Also, to com­mem­o­rate its 40th an­niver­sary, Al At­tiya Mo­tors and Trad­ing Co (AMTC) launched its state-of-the-art Re­nault Trucks work­shop in the in­dus­trial area. Lo­cated on a 4500 sq m area, the QR26 mil­lion-fa­cil­ity will help in ac­com­mo­dat­ing the in­creas­ing de­mand for re­pairs, ser­vice, body work and main­te­nance of the over 2,000 Re­nault trucks that are cur­rently in op­er­a­tion in Qatar and the more that will come in the fu­ture.

Re­nault Trucks has in­tro­duced two new trucks - C range and K range – in Qatar and the Mid­dle East. Re­nault Trucks has a strong dealer net­work in 13 coun­tries in the re­gion and Qatar is one of its key mar­kets, with an ex­pected growth of 30% be­tween 2012 and 2015.
