If the launch of a re­tail project is any­thing to go by, the Ali Bin Ali groups's Katara Plaza project did scale all set guide­lines with a live 4D ex­pe­ri­ence that showed the many de­tails of the luxury Plaza.

The project that is be­ing built on an area of over 38,000 square me­tres in the Cul­tural Vil­lage Foun­da­tion, the Katara Plaza will bring Ga­leries Lafayette for the first time to Qatar and an­other ten­ant is evianSpa, a well­ness ex­pe­ri­ence that is said to be “be­yond clas­sic spa ex­pe­ri­ences”.

Speak­ing at the launch of this new ven­ture, Nabeel Ali Bin Ali, Vice Chair­man & EVP of the Ali Bin Ali group said, “We recog­nise the tremen­dous po­ten­tial for growth in the Qatari mar­ket and this unique shop­ping ex­pe­ri­ence of­fers many first of its kind ex­pe­ri­ence that can be en­joyed by the con­sumers.”

While the cost of the project was said to be close to QR400 mil­lion, the project is be­ing de­signed by ar­chi­tect Bruno Moinard who is known for his in­trin­sic de­signs blend­ing art and luxury. Marsa Malaz Kempin­ski at The Pearl an­nounced the open­ing of three new restau­rants – El Faro, Al Sufra and Sawa – last month.
