THE FIRST CAMP QATAR A SUC­CESS

Camp Qatar 2015 re­cently wrapped up its inau­gu­ral year of sum­mer ac­tiv­i­ties with more than 150 Ara­bic-speak­ing chil­dren be­tween 11 and 14 years old from pri­vate and in­de­pen­dent schools across Qatar hav­ing taken part. Held un­der the theme ‘Seifak Ala Keifak’, Camp Qatar 2015 marked the clos­ing of its first suc­cess­ful year with a stu­dent work ex­hibit that pro­vided the chil­dren an op­por­tu­nity to show­case their ex­pe­ri­ence at the fun-filled fort­night to fam­ily and friends. Camp Qatar 2015 of­fered the chil­dren of Doha a unique ex­pe­ri­ence com­prised of both so­cial and aca­demic com­po­nents, de­vel­oped in part­ner­ship with IN­JAZ Qatar, the Sheikh Faisal Bin Qas­sim Sports Academy, Lit­tle Engi­neer Qatar, Mad Science, Qatar Mu­se­ums, the Doha Film In­sti­tute, Weill Cor­nell Med­i­cal Col­lege Qatar and Arts and Crafts.
