Launched 2012 in as­so­ci­a­tion with the Supreme Coun­cil of Health and in part­ner­ship with Qatar Foun­da­tion, the Supreme Education Coun­cil, Oc­ci­den­tal Pe­tro­leum Qatar, ExxonMo­bil and Qatar Olympic Com­mit­tee, Your Health First was de­signed to ed­u­cate and im­prove the health of the whole na­tion through preven­tion, with a par­tic­u­lar em­pha­sis on the youth. The cam­paign in­cor­po­rates var­i­ous facets and projects, each de­signed to en­cour­age peo­ple to change un­healthy habits into healthy be­hav­iours. The most re­cent was the stag­ing of The Color Run last month, the se­cond time that Your Health First has brought the event to Qatar. With around 7,500 par­tic­i­pants of all ages from the very youngest to the old­est, the Color Run is a cel­e­bra­tion of ex­er­cise and its non-com­pet­i­tive na­ture al­lows peo­ple to take part with­out the pres­sure of record­ing a fast time.
