Quintessen­tially Life­style is a ser­vice that pri­mar­ily works by word of mouth. “Apart from this we have tied up with a lot of events where we pro­vide on-site concierge ser­vices,” says Bel­lid. “For in­stance, we have been the Of­fi­cial Concierge Part­ner for the Qatar In­ter­na­tional Boat Show and VIP Ser­vices Part­ner for the Doha Jew­elry and Watches Ex­hi­bi­tion; ba­si­cally the types of events that at­tract the same kind of au­di­ence that we cater to.” and univer­si­ties in the UK, Europe and North America; Quintessen­tially Art, which helps mem­bers put to­gether art col­lec­tions and ad­vise on in­vest­ing in art; Quintessen­tially Eques­trian, to cater to the needs of a sta­ble owner, etc. This sort of di­ver­si­fi­ca­tion is one of the strengths of Quintessen­tially Life­style. “It’s a chal­leng­ing busi­ness with high op­er­a­tional costs,” says Bel­lid. “And re­main­ing a leader re­quires in­no­va­tion and use of tech­nol­ogy to stream­line op­er­a­tions and make them more ef­fi­cient.”

Fa­mously, there are some things that money can’t buy. “We al­ways strive to ful­fill each and ev­ery re­quest. We don’t over­promise; sure, any­thing is pos­si­ble but some things might not be pos­si­ble to ful­fill due to le­gal con­straints or reg­u­la­tions. When we can’t de­liver on cer­tain re­quests we al­ways come up with a sec­ond or third op­tion to make sure our mem­bers are sat­is­fied. In that re­spect, I’d say our suc­cess rate is 100%,” she smiles
