Doha is set to host the fourth edi­tion of the Qatar In­ter­na­tional Boat Show (QIBS 2016) at Lu­sail Ma­rina, Lu­sail City, from De­cem­ber 7-10, 2016.

Fol­low­ing on the show's re­mark­able suc­cess, QIBS 2016 will wit­ness the par­tic­i­pa­tion of ma­jor man­u­fac­tur­ers and ex­hibitors and lead­ing in­ter­na­tional and GCC com­pa­nies cur­rently ac­tive in boat and yacht man­u­fac­tur­ing and mar­ket­ing. For his part, Khalid Essa Al Man­nai, Chair­man of Al Man­nai Events, QIBS or­ga­niz­ers, noted that the show en­joys the sup­port of all Qatari of­fi­cials led by His High­ness Sheikh Tamim bin Ha­mad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, rep­re­sented by HE Sheikh Ab­dul­lah bin Nasser bin Khal­ifa Al Thani, un­der whose pa­tron­age QIBS is held ev­ery year. "QIBS high­lights the Qatari gov­ern­ment's re­lent­less sup­port of the pri­vate sec­tor that drives the econ­omy's com­pet­i­tive­ness and helps in the di­ver­si­fi­ca­tion of in­come re­sources, in­clud­ing the vi­tal sec­tors of tourism, ex­hi­bi­tions and ma­rine ser­vices. To en­sure the com­plete suc­cess of the show, a team of highly skilled spe­cial­ists has been formed, spear­headed by Nader Sa­maan, Di­rec­tor of QIBS 2016," con­cluded Al Man­nai.
