This new mar­ket is set to ben­e­fit from Ca­reem’s range of con­ve­nient trans­porta­tion ser­vices that will in­clude the Econ­omy op­tion upon its launch. “The ex­pan­sion is a tes­ta­ment to the in­creas­ing de­mand for a safe, com­fort­able and af­ford­able ride in Qatar.” said Ibrahim Manna, GM Emerg­ing Mar­kets, Ca­reem. “In less than six months we man­aged to dou­ble our fleet in the mar­ket and are grow­ing by 30% month on month. We are ded­i­cated to serv­ing the ever-grow­ing trans­porta­tion needs in Qatar and, in the process, open­ing new av­enues of em­ploy­ment in more cities.” He added: “In the com­ing years, Qatar will as­sume a greater sig­nif­i­cance for our oper­a­tions, es­pe­cially as the coun­try is geared to­wards host­ing the FIFA World Cup in 2022 and ex­pand­ing its tourism sec­tor. Gen­er­at­ing em­ploy­ment, strength­en­ing the coun­try’s trans­porta­tion ecosys­tem and en­gag­ing with lo­cal com­mu­ni­ties will be at the heart of our ef­forts.”
