Saint Lu­cia and the mu­sic world… we in­tro­duce, ‘KDUBB’. Born Kyle War­rell on May 16, 1993 to a Bri­tish Fa­ther and Saint Lu­cian Mother, KDUBB is a Marisule boy but has lived in Eng­land and Do­minica. A past stu­dent of the Castries Com­pre­hen­sive Sec­ondary School and grad­u­ate of Mon­roe Col­lege with a de­gree in crim­i­nal jus­tice, the young record­ing ar tist’s mu­si­cal jour­ney be­gan in early 2010.

“I star ted off after sec­ondary school writ­ing mu­sic, record­ing demos and putting my work on­line. I was get­ting some re­ally good feed­back and two pro­duc­ers who were rel­a­tively new at the time, Izzy Hall­burg and Alex Syke, were launch­ing their Un­der­ground Record La­bel, Frusty Records in Mi­ami, Florida. They were in­ter­ested in me do­ing demos for them and later on signed me as their demo ar tist and writer.”

The team de­cided to take it even fur ther, and KDUBB be­gan work­ing on his De­but re­lease in 2013.

KDUBB comes for th with his tal­ents in song-writ­ing along with singing with the re­lease his de­but al­bum, "Search­ing For Sum­mer" for the year 2014. An ex­clu­sive al­bum with gen­res such as EDM, R&B, Hip Hop/Rap and Reg­gae, KDUBB's goals are to show just how di­verse St Lu­cian & Caribbean mu­sic re­ally is.

After work­ing on the project for almost two years, the 24track stu­dio al­bum, which was ini­tially meant to be a mix­tape/ demo ef­for t, fea­tures a di­verse cat­a­logue of mu­sic gen­res and pro­duc­ers. The al­bum draws in­spi­ra­tion from other ar tists like Chris Brown, Drake, Au­gust Alsina, along with caribbean mu­sic on a whole. Pro­duc­tions from Trap Kil­laz, League Of Starz, Mad­House, ED Mafias, Stereo George and in­stru­men­tal beats from euro­pean won­der, Mar tin Gar­rix, all in sync with the stylings and com­po­si­tions of Syke & Izzy. ‘Search­ing For Sum­mer’ was re­leased Novem­ber 27, 2014 as a true Thanks­giv­ing treat and prom­ises to have the world singing.
