Ocho Rios Jazz Festival The city of Ocho Rios, located to the north in Jamaica, each year host an international Jazz Festival in June which organizers have declared as Jazz Month. The best artists and compositions from Jamaica take place at this event side by side with gust artists from the wider Caribbean. One of the purposes of the festival is to promote the “classical black music” and “America’s first art form” and preserve its integrity and history.
