The Star (St. Lucia) - Life Begins 2 Nite - - CONTENTS - Photos by David Pascal

Following up on a fantastic Friday night, Saturday had big shoes to fill. Challenge accepted and met. The day started off with the sweet sound of pan courtesy of Lucian Pan Fusion with an assist from Augustin Jab Duplessis. Arturo Tappin made yet another welcome appearance at the Jazz Festival with a stable of talent backing him up. Salsa was then served up hot and spicy from Cuban band Timbalive and Cuban American singer-songwriter Jon Secada took the crowd down memory lane with some of his best loved hits. Rap superstar Flo Rida had the teeny boppers in mass hysteria by night’s end. And a few of the grown and sexy ladies as well.

Arturo Tappin (r) was a crowd pleaser.
