A milestone Jenna for

The Star (St. Lucia) - Life Begins 2 Nite - - FRONT PAGE -

It was only about a week ago that I blew out the candles on my three tier vanilla bean cake and planted a big wet one on my significant other. Celebrating a milestone and stepping into the new era of the fab 30's. As excited as I was having heard all the stories of when you're in your thirties, I couldn’t help but reminisce on how truly awesome my twenties were. I was carefree, young and ready to take on any adventure.

I discovered sex in my early twenties, wildly pumping my sex organs, trying to produce an orgasim and of course I had no idea what I was doing; but the limbs were flexible, the body looked hot in a bikini and I had pursuers at every corner. However as time went by I slowly began to learn about my body and no, I'm not talking about finger jamming. I discovered that pleasure came from body parts other than a man's genitals, and while we're on the topic of men; my twenties were also the era where I discovered that having sex with a man was much better than having sex with a boy my own age.

By age 24 I discovered that what I really needed was a job and some money of my own. How else would I afford to buy party tickets and travel to Trinidad for carnival? That’s when it hit me, a glimpse of reality and foreign men.

So maybe just maybe I had a thing for wood and wattah and by that I mean Jamaican men, could it be the accent or their eccentric fashion sense? Whatever it was I spent most of my mid twenties dating men from around the region.

By my late twenties sex seemed overrated while toys on the other hand appeared to be much more attractive. A couple investments later, I was on my way to a successful life both in and out of the sack. I now looked for a man who offered more than just a great orgasim. I wanted brains, ambition and a healthy bank account (which I eventually found if you're wondering)!

All in all my twenties were magical, I traveled around the globe, pursued some of my greatest passions, met and slept with some amazing people but most of all learnt a lesson from every adventure. So hello 30, the queen has arrived.
