The Star (St. Lucia) - Life Begins 2 Nite - - COCKTAIL CORNER -

inger Songwriter IFARI aka Fari, a young artist from the Môn Repos community in Micoud, St. Lucia recently released his debut album ‘Cultural Vibration’. The album of fourteen songs is written and performed by Ifari Joseph, produced and co-written by producer Lyleton Lisson (Artist name: Cornwallis) within the CW Production Studio, Hospital Road, Castries. The artiste says completing his debut album is for him a very meaningful step in life: “It has been a very interesting and educational experience for me working at my passion with others who share the same passion. Working with individuals who are of more experience than me and receiving guidance along the way truly makes this more worthwhile, I am forever grateful.”

Ifari says music has been his love since childhood; he would frequently listen to the likes of Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and Lucky Dube along with many other reggae artistes. He considers music both entertainment and therapy. “In my opinion I believe that music has been a part of me from the get go,” he told 2Nite. “It is in my very blood. My father is a lover of music and so is my mom. Dad played the bass guitar before I was born and my mom was both a dancer and poet.”

Ifari looks forward to promoting his latest album, creating new music, and collaborating with other artistes. Check out his album on itunes!
