Boka Group backs initiative to find hidden talent aspiring chefs in Jr. Chefactor Caribbean
For the first time in Saint Lucia nine junior home cooks will put on their Jr Chefactor aprons and sharpen their knives in a bid to cook up a golden future for themselves as the next generation of celebrity chefs. In the battle for the final of Jr. Chefactor Caribbean, one ambitious young Saint Lucian will be setting out on a journey of a lifetime with a war-chest worth thousands of dollars in both prizes and endorsements.
BOKA Group, owners of Belvedere Plantation and the Mahaut Estate near Canaries, are title sponsors of this brand new Saint Lucian reality show. Together with Hanna Fitz from Seashell Consulting, they have contributed significantly to the creation of the reality show that has the whole Island talking.
Under the stewardship of Boka Group Owner and CEO, John Kennedy, the chance has been created to help shape lives and budding culinary talents right here in Saint Lucia.
John Kennedy told the media, “Without support this is a tough business to get into. The island has talent; it’s there, we have just added the crucial ingredient – opportunity. These contestants are ambitious and hungry to succeed, but they must fight their own battle to win. All of them will learn and one of them will win. That person will then be set on the road to success in the industry that they love.”
Geared to air its first episode in November on Choice TV, Jr. Chefactor Caribbean promises lots of excitement, laughter and tears as nine young contestants vie for the coveted title of the first ever Jr. Chefactor Caribbean. Watch the talent and be amazed.
