Prayz FM Celebrates Ten Years
Saint Lucia-based radio station Prayz FM, is in celebratory mood as the station observes ten years of dedicated service. The non-commercial radio station is owned and operated by the Saint Lucia Mission of Seventh-Day Adventists, with the mission to broadcast programmes and music that will minister holistically to the listening audience, while encouraging a personal relationship with Jesus.
To commemorate this milestone and reveal what the lord has accomplished over the past ten years, Prayz FM will be staging a grand musical concert featuring International acclaimed recording artist Neville Peter, on December 07, 2014 at the Zion S.D.A Church in L’Abayee. Neville, who became totally blind at the age of twelve years, has Saint Lucian roots - his mother being a native from the community of Choiseul. He has written over one hundred gospel songs and has had the privilege of sharing the stage with Bishop T.D. Jakes, Gladys Knight, Donnie McClurkin, Yolanda Adams, Natalie Cole, Shirley Caesar, Richard Smallwood, Kurt Carr, Bebe Winans, and many others. He has performed at the White House, Carnegie Hall and appeared on many television programmes.
Joining Neville in concert are Saint Lucian artists Shirley-Ann Cyril Mayers, Harmony, Deliverance, Beloved, Special Blend, and Lauvina Reynolds, among others. The concert will also feature conversion testimonies, health breakthroughs, and personal interaction with past and present announcers and programme hosts of PrayzFM.
Organizers of the concert are encouraging participants to bring along a gift of non-perishable items to distribute to the needy in the communities. Participants are also asked to bring a monetary contribution to support this radio ministry. PrayzFM Anniversary T-shirts and snacks will be on sale.
