Babonneau youth succumbs to injuries
Officers attached to the Babonneau Police Station are investigating the circumstances which led to the chopping death of 19-year-old Terry Louis of Paix Bouche, Babonneau.
About 8:30 p.m. on Thursday December 18, 2014 officers attached to the Babonneau Police Station responded to a report of a chopping at Paix Bouche.
On arrival, they received information that two young men were involved in a dispute. As a result, Louis received cutlass wounds to the upper part of the body and was transported to Victoria Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
A 25-year-old resident of Paix Bouche, Babonneau is currently in police custody assisting with investigations. This is the 34th homicide recorded thus far for 2014.
