LIME Slashes Pre­paid Rates with FREE In­com­ing Calls while Roam­ing

Ter­rific news for LIME mo­bile cus­tomers in Saint Lu­cia – in­com­ing calls while trav­el­ling are now FREE and the cost of pre­paid mo­bile data and text mes­sag­ing has been re­duced by up to 50%.

Saint Lu­cia’s only full ser­vice telecom­mu­ni­ca­tions provider has in­tro­duced a new pre­paid roam­ing rate which low­ers the price sub­stan­tially for cus­tomers roam­ing in the USA and Canada. By sign­ing up for a 7, 14 or 30 day plan, they now have the most flex­i­bil­ity to man­age their data spend while trav­el­ling. No longer is there a need to worry about phone ac­ces­si­bil­ity while trav­el­ling.

The new pre­paid data roam­ing rate re­duc­tion, along with re­duced text mes­sag­ing rates and free in­com­ing calls, gives LIME cus­tomers even more free­dom to use their phones while trav­el­ling any­where across the U.S. and Canada, adding in­creased value and cov­er­age to the al­ready low-priced plans.

“It was just Novem­ber last year that we cut pre­paid data roam­ing costs for cus­tomers trav­el­ling to the USA and the re­sponse we re­ceived was over­whelm­ingly pos­i­tive,” said CEO LIME South­ern Clus­ter, Geral­dine Pitt. “In­creas­ingly cus­tomers shared that they would like to make bet­ter use of their smart­phones when they travel but they find it cost pro­hib­i­tive. We lis­tened and we have re­sponded by dra­mat­i­cally cut­ting the cost of pre­paid mo­bile roam­ing rates: data, voice and text, as a num­ber of Saint Lu­cians travel to the US and Canada,” Ms Pitt added.

Lower pre­paid roam­ing rates will be a wel­come treat for any­one on the LIME net­work plan­ning to visit friends and fam­ily in the US and Canada for the Christ­mas sea­son. Cus­tomers also have the added ben­e­fit of no longer hav­ing to pay for in­com­ing calls.
