LIME Slashes Prepaid Rates with FREE Incoming Calls while Roaming
Terrific news for LIME mobile customers in Saint Lucia – incoming calls while travelling are now FREE and the cost of prepaid mobile data and text messaging has been reduced by up to 50%.
Saint Lucia’s only full service telecommunications provider has introduced a new prepaid roaming rate which lowers the price substantially for customers roaming in the USA and Canada. By signing up for a 7, 14 or 30 day plan, they now have the most flexibility to manage their data spend while travelling. No longer is there a need to worry about phone accessibility while travelling.
The new prepaid data roaming rate reduction, along with reduced text messaging rates and free incoming calls, gives LIME customers even more freedom to use their phones while travelling anywhere across the U.S. and Canada, adding increased value and coverage to the already low-priced plans.
“It was just November last year that we cut prepaid data roaming costs for customers travelling to the USA and the response we received was overwhelmingly positive,” said CEO LIME Southern Cluster, Geraldine Pitt. “Increasingly customers shared that they would like to make better use of their smartphones when they travel but they find it cost prohibitive. We listened and we have responded by dramatically cutting the cost of prepaid mobile roaming rates: data, voice and text, as a number of Saint Lucians travel to the US and Canada,” Ms Pitt added.
Lower prepaid roaming rates will be a welcome treat for anyone on the LIME network planning to visit friends and family in the US and Canada for the Christmas season. Customers also have the added benefit of no longer having to pay for incoming calls.
