The Star (St. Lucia) - - CLASSIFIED -

Obviously, we’re going bonkers, judging by what we tolerate and sometimes promote; self-destruction, for one. Then there’s VAT that for a while some of us had considered the mother of all cure-alls, no matter that we knew full well it was “an oppressive law, anti-poor and anti-worker.”

Lately, we’ve taken to throwing rocks at the hands that fed us all these years, just to impress so-called non-traditional allies with whom we have nothing in common— save nutty leadership. And now we’re shi##ing BRICS as Venezuela chokes on its own oil and Castro the Younger reaches for the higher notes of The Star Spangled Banner. What to do? Well, for one we can while away our idle hours along the nation’s roadsides with our cococonuts!
