The wait for the muchan­tic­i­pated an­nounce­ment of just who will per­form at the 2015 Saint Lu­cia Jazz and Arts Fes­ti­val will soon be over. Ac­cord­ing to the Saint Lu­cia Tourist Board (SLTB) the line-up for this year’s event which be held May 1-10 will be an­nounced at a me­dia launch on Thurs­day Fe­bru­ary 5. The ac­tiv­ity will be held at the Pi­geon Is­land Na­tional Land­mark from 7:30 pm. The Min­is­ter of Tourism, Lorne Theophilus as well as the Direc­tor of Tourism, Louis Lewis will ad­dress the launch ahead of the un­veil­ing of per­form­ers for this year’s event. The ac­tiv­ity will also fea­ture per­for­mances from Saint Lu­cian per­form­ers.

The Saint Lu­cia Jazz and Arts Fes­ti­val has been a ma­jor mar­ket­ing tool used by the SLTB to woo vis­i­tors to the is­land. Over the years it has fea­tured world-class per­form­ers in­clud­ing a num­ber of pop, Jazz, Reg­gae and R&B stars as well as lo­cal tal­ent. The 2014 event was head­lined by Maxwell and also fea­tured Tes­sane Chin, P-Square, Kem and oth­ers.

Tes­sane Chin and Maxwell were just two of the stars at last year’s Saint Lu­cia Jazz and Arts Fes­ti­val.
