Pi­ton Beer Sup­ports Na­tional Show­case

While Vieux Fort in the South of the is­land has been dubbed Car­ni­val City for this year’s In­de­pen­dence cel­e­bra­tions, folks in the north have not been left out of the loop. Thanks to a col­lab­o­ra­tion be­tween the CDF and Pi­ton beer, on Mon­day Fe­bru­ary 23, the Pi­geon Is­land Cause­way will be the venue for the first ever Pi­ton In­de­pen­dence Con­cert.

On that day pa­trons will be treated to the venue be­ing trans­formed into a “Looshan Vil­lage” com­plete with repli­cas of the Kabawe, mar­ket place and home kitchen.

The event will fea­ture per­for­mances by Ted­dyson John, Mongstar, In­vader, Ken Hardy, Naomi Gran­di­son, Ashanti, Herb Black, Soca Ban­dit, Sur­bance, Mighty, Se­cret Band, African Roots, Kiedel Sonny and Dry-Bonz and the 2014 power Soca Monarch Ezra The Fun Ma­chine. Fash­ion will also form part of the ac­tiv­ity, with a spe­cial show­case by Jaeylu De­signs.
