Miss Independence 2015

The Star (St. Lucia) - - 36TH INDEPENDENCE -

Gregory Lord Productions will be hosting its 9th Annual Miss Independence Pageant as part of activities planned for the observance of Saint Lucia’s 36th Independence Anniversary. The annual pageant will be held Saturday February 21 at the National Cultural Center from 7 pm, under the theme “World Peace for the Security and Prosperity of our Nation”, as peace is one of the fundamental values/principles enshrined in the Harare Declaration of the Commonwealth Group of Countries of which Saint Lucia is a party.

“As it is firmly accepted that Peace, Security and the Rule of Law are essential to the progress and prosperity of any nation, it is of critical importance that we as a nation express our commitment to the development of a foundation for achieving true peace within our homes, families and ultimately our nation,” a statement from Gregory Lord Productions reads.
