Sickle Cell As­so­ci­a­tion Mas­quer­ade Party

You’re in for a night of en­ter­tain­ment and fun all for a wor­thy cause, when the St Lu­cia Sickle Cell As­so­ci­a­tion hosts a Mas­quer­ade Party Mon­day evening March 30th at San­dals Hal­cyon, Kelly’s Dock Side.

San­dals is the ma­jor spon­sor of this fundraiser with pro­ceeds go­ing to “vac­ci­nat­ing “our kids.” The pro­ceed­ings get un­der­way from 7:30 pm with cock­tails fol­lowed by din­ner at 8:30 pm. Af­ter that its en­ter­tain­ment galore, with sev­eral per­form­ers in­clud­ing Cleopa­tra Hall, for­mer Ca­lypso Monarch TC Brown and In­vader, Len­nie Stone and Vin­cent Small Lewis.

Fundrais­ers of this na­ture have taken place at San­dals be­fore and have been highly suc­cess­ful, with pa­trons thor­oughly en­joy­ing them­selves singing, danc­ing or just sim­ply min­gling with each other.

Pres­i­dent of the St Lu­cia Sickle Cell As­so­ci­a­tion, Paula Calderon is count­ing on the public com­ing out in large num­bers to at­tend this wor­thy cause. She thanked San­dals for their con­tin­ued sup­port over the years.
