Soufriere Jazz All Set To Go!

Soufriere Cre­ole Jazz, which is or­ga­nized and pro­moted by the Soufriere Foun­da­tion is this year ex­pected to be an­other great ex­pe­ri­ence, fol­low­ing on the heels of last year’s head­line act Kas­sav.

Ear­lier this month the Foun­da­tion an­nounced that the con­tract be­tween the or­ga­ni­za­tion and this year’s head­liner had been signed, sealed and de­liv­ered. Popular Ja­maican Reg­gae crooner Jah Cure will take the stage of the Soufriere mini Sta­dium on May 1 as the head­line act.

Fol­low­ing that an­nounce­ment came that of yet an­other great Caribbean act for the May 1 event. The Orig­i­nal Bouyon Pi­o­neers of Do­minica (com­pris­ing for­mer mem­bers of WCK) will also be grac­ing the Soufriere stage much to the de­light of fans. The re­sponse has been over­whelm­ing on the or­ga­ni­za­tions event Face­book page so far.

Soufriere Cre­ole Jazz 2015 will also fea­ture Bar­bara Cadet, Ted­dyson John and Soufriere’s very own Fu­ture Lights band.
