NEW DIREC­TOR AP­POINTED TO LUCELEC BOARD

Ca­role Eleuthere-Jn Marie has been ap­pointed to the Board of Di­rec­tors of St Lu­cia Elec­tric­ity Ser­vices Limited (LUCELEC) ef­fec­tive Jan­uary 26, 2015. Mrs Jn Marie is the Re­gional Manager - Eastern Caribbean and Bar­ba­dos for First Cit­i­zens In­vest­ment Ser­vices Limited. She holds a BSc (Hons.) in Ac­count­ing from the Uni­ver­sity of the West Indies, is a Char­tered Ac­coun­tant by pro­fes­sion and a mem­ber of the In­sti­tute of Char­tered Ac­coun­tants of Saint Lu­cia and the In­sti­tute of Char­tered Ac­coun­tants of the Eastern Caribbean (ICAEC). She has over twenty (20) years se­nior man­age­ment ex­pe­ri­ence in fi­nance, ten of which were spent in the bank­ing sec­tor.

Pos­sess­ing a keen in­ter­est in work­ing with young peo­ple, es­pe­cially the un­der­priv­i­leged, Mrs Jn Marie is also a mem­ber of the Ro­tary Club where she has served as pres­i­dent.

Mrs Jn Marie was ap­pointed to LUCELEC Board by First Cit­i­zens Bank Limited, which owns 20% of the shares in the lo­cal power com­pany. She re­placed Mr Larry Nath who re­signed from the Board on De­cem­ber 4, 2014.
