Po­lice In­ves­ti­gate Sus­pected Sui­cide

Po­lice in­ves­ti­ga­tions are con­tin­u­ing into the sus­pected sui­cide of Valen­tine Moise also known as Mubarak. Re­ports in­di­cate that around 7:30 p.m. on Thurs­day, April 2, 2015 the well-known mu­si­cian and bar­ber was dis­cov­ered by his girl­friend suspended by the neck un­der her house at Morne Ser­pent, Gros Islet.

The po­lice re­sponded to the in­ci­dent at 7:40 p.m. and pro­cessed the scene. There were no marks of vi­o­lence on the body of the de­ceased. He was pro­nounced dead at the scene and was trans­ported to the morgue.

Mubarak, who worked as a bar­ber in the city for many years, sev­eral years ago jumped into the soca arena and had par­tic­i­pated in sev­eral of the com­pe­ti­tions dur­ing car­ni­val.
