Dig­i­cel with CPMA for Car­ni­val 2015

Dig­i­cel, in keep­ing with its cul­tural devel­op­ment phi­los­o­phy, has of­fi­cially an­nounced its com­mit­ment and sup­port to Car­ni­val 2015 as Plat­inum Spon­sors for the sev­enth con­sec­u­tive year. The Press Launch for Car­ni­val 2015 was hosted by the Car­ni­val Plan­ning and Man­age­ment Agency (CPMA) on Mon­day April 27th at the Bay Gar­dens Beach Re­sort.

Dig­i­cel re­vealed its in­vest­ment of EC $150,000 in its cheque pre­sen­ta­tion to the CPMA on Mon­day’s launch as a reaf­fir­ma­tion to the part­ner­ship in de­liv­er­ing the is­land’s pre­miere cul­tural cel­e­bra­tion. Dig­i­cel has not only pledged its com­mit­ment to CPMA but also to var­i­ous car­ni­val bands such as Just 4 Fun, R3D Un­lim­ited, Royalites Xtreme and, as the sea­son un­rav­els, will con­tinue to un­veil its var­i­ous spon­sor­ships and part­ner­ships for other car­ni­val ini­tia­tives is­land­wide.

Louise Vic­tor, Mar­ket­ing & Com­mu­ni­ca­tions Ex­ec­u­tive at Dig­i­cel, in de­liv­er­ing her re­marks at the launch said, “Dig­i­cel be­lieves it is crit­i­cal to con­tinue to in­vest in events, ob­ser­va­tions and ini­tia­tives like Car­ni­val, as it not only cre­ates a more cul­tur­ally con­scious cit­i­zenry but also al­lows for reach be­yond our shores in show­cas­ing the beauty of Saint Lu­cian cul­ture. For Dig­i­cel it is crit­i­cal to con­tinue to not only pre­serve the cul­ture but St. Lu­cia’s her­itage.” She went on to add, “Our sup­port extends well be­yond just the CPMA, from in­di­vid­ual bands, both se­nior and ju­nior, com­mu­nity car­ni­vals, car­ni­val par­ties and unique ini­tia­tives that con­trib­ute to the over­all Car­ni­val ex­pe­ri­ence. “

Dig­i­cel re­mains com­mit­ted to sup­port­ing the Min­istry of Cre­ative In­dus­tries, the Car­ni­val Plan­ning and Man­age­ment Author­ity, car­ni­val stake­hold­ers and the peo­ple of St. Lu­cia in de­vel­op­ing the ul­ti­mate car­ni­val prod­uct and to en­sure that the 2015 Car­ni­val sea­son is an ex­tra­or­di­nary ex­pe­ri­ence for one and all.
