JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT PARTICIPATES IN JAZZ ON THE SQUARE
Junior Achievement St. Lucia hosted its 2nd annual JA Trade Fair on Friday, May 8th, 2015 in the Derek Walcott Square. The event was made possible through the support of Landmark Events and afforded the JA Company Programme participants an opportunity to market their products or services to the general public. The items on display included paper jewellery, delicacies made from pumpkin, frozen fruits, mugs, tie-dye clothing, bags and snacks.
With a total of 26 students and 9 teacher advisors who represented 7 secondary schools, the event was a success and a learning experience for all participants.
Junior Achievement uses hands-on, real life experiences to help young people understand the economics of life. In partnership with the business community and educators, JA brings the real world to students, opening their minds to their potential.
