Shoe Re­hab gives to needy chil­dren with “Back to School Shoe Drive”

Shoe Re­hab, a lo­cally owed shoe re­pair and en­hance­ment shop lo­cated at the JQ Rod­ney Bay Mall, will be host­ing their first an­nual “Back to School Shoe Drive”.

The aim of the drive is to en­sure that chil­dren in need around the is­land will be pro­vided with ad­e­quate footwear to start the up­com­ing school term.

The com­pany will be work­ing with var­i­ous schools and foun­da­tions is­land wide to iden­tify chil­dren in need of the do­na­tions. The public is asked to par­take in this shoe drive by do­nat­ing gen­tly worn school footwear.

Do­na­tions can be dropped off at Shoe Re­hab (lo­cated at the JQ Rod­ney Bay Mall, first store on ‘The Strip’) from now till Septem­ber 1st, be­tween the hours of 9am and 6pm daily. Con­tri­bu­tions of Back­packs, lunch bags and school books will also be ac­cepted.

All items col­lected will be san­i­tized, re­fur­bished and dis­trib­uted dur­ing the first week of Septem­ber to needy school chil­dren in var­i­ous com­mu­ni­ties is­land wide.

“Help us help those in need give the gift of footwear,” says man­ager Man­disa Mor­ri­son.
